Brian Matless

In May 1994 Brian Matless founded Harrogate Fencing Club with Helen Kay and her father Keith Marshall. Thanks to Brian's coaching Harrogate Fencing Club has produced junior and senior regional and national champions. Many fencers from Harrogate fence for Great Britain (GBR) and other national squads. Harrogate fencers were selected to fence in Germany, France, Austria, Portugal, Budapest and Italy

Beginners of all ages are very welcome at the club and equipment and coaching is provided; all you need is a pair of trainers!
